Sweet potatoes are the perfect carbohydrate so tomorrow you must be planning a longer run?

You know, thats just the soup for me! And i like the big chunks, there is something about veggies in a soup, I like it like that, so soft and comforting. Its just lovely, and I think I'll be serving soup again today.

snugs: I bet you can...

anette: I almost put a little chile in my bowl...

joy: even better the next day...

pigpigscorner: and it is rainy and extra miserable out there now....

beth: FINALLY - but I forgot to mention the hidden salmon in this one....LOL

Okay--I own a pressure cooker. I have pressure cooker recipes. I am terrified to use it. I even still cook dry beans in a regular pan.

New Year Resolution--get over fear of pressure cooker.

Foul day out. A beautifully simple soup is the answer. Thanks for sharing.

Soup in wintertime is one of the best things in the world. I made a huge pot of beef stew on Saturday - like 4 gallons - and buttloads of biscuits, and it was devoured!

tavolini: they scare you because misused it is a bomb - but there is no reason to be scared - keep an eye on it since most things will cook in under 20 minutes and you should be fine - I use it all the time, I just never mention it, because I want you guys to think I spend hours making things....

susan: hey not a problem, I like to share...

marjie: this is the first time 'buttloads' as a unit of measurement actually makes sense...
