Eight years ago, I had never thought to put hot sauce on my eggs. Now I can't imagine them without it!

Hot sauce??? What do you mean?
Yes.. I'm slow!

Buffalo: this is dried red chile pods that have been put in the blender with a little garlic, water and salt and blended till smooth then heated up.

Casdok: no problem tell me how you like it

Nancy: slow..how?

Chili and egs. Yum. Green chiles are great, too. A Santa Fe special. Thanks for visiting my site. You asked about haloscan... The link is the second one below, in the comments...

This comment is from a nonBlogger, with a link only back to my site via my inserting it in this place by handwriting the coding to give a link back MotherPie which is a real hassle and involves a lot of cut/paste.

Blogging has stimulated conversation among virtual/real friends but Blogger, by altering the commenting structure, has limited comments only to Google's bloggers using the Blogger platform. Crummy move, Google/Blogger. See my post on this: Blogger Comment Changes Stink. Period. Use Haloscan for commenting - the link is in my post comments.

This post inspired me this morning, DB. I didn't do chile eggs, but I made my wife some garlic basil fried noodles and put two eggs on top. She called it the best breakfast ever, so I give you the assist on this one.

Dana: this actually has a corn tortilla that was drenched in the chile and then covered in cheese under the eggs...and it was dinner

motherpie: santa fe special is right! I am a transplanted new mexican

jason: glad I could help and yoooour version sounds tasty

I have now made a vow NEVER to read your blog at 2am.....because all I can think about is....I've got to try this chili and egg dish....

I enjoy a variation of this... fry an egg...then placing a slice of cheese (or a large handful of shredded cheese) on top of it till melted... then top that with a big dollop of fresh salsa....place this concoction on a warm bagel half.

okay...too bad I have to sleep first before I get to eat....
