You tell me, what is good stinky versus bad stinky, its all stinky after all and boy do I like stinky.
Truffles are to me like a pig is to slop, its a stinky I can live with. Black Star Gourmet has some of the stinkiest truffles around - and thats a good thing.
Simpleness with even more simplicity- now thats a tough call, black truffle butter on whatever you want - thats a stinky to call your own!

Durian and aged cheese are my good stinky things i could live with. Stinky truffles? How does it smells??

mhel: now that is some stink I can grab on to.... truffles smell like rotten wood and stinky feet - sort of.
One of the stinkiest things I love are durian! Oooh, I don't even find it stinky anymore, hehehe. Yum!

I've smelt, looked at (except in photographs) or tasted truffles. One day though!
I just made a dish with roasted green wheat and while it was simmering it smelled like goat dung that one smells while walking in the mountains in Lebanon; I loved it!

I have yet to be even in close proximity to a real truffle but I have no doubt that it would be a stinky I could live with!
I adore truffles...and anything they may be in. I drizzled truffle oil on my avocados last night...wonderful!
I love poached eggs!! Is there anything more luxurious than that wobby little white pouches of gold nectar? I like how you paired truffle with a comfort food like poached eggs.
If you lke stinky, try durian. the BEST stinkiest food. Ever.
