curly Q

O
meletes are an easy lunch when you are in a hurry, lazy, or whatever excuse you need to make one. It doesnt take much for me to go to the egg in times of hunger.

I picked up one of these for a couple of bucks and I had to try it out. The potatoes were in longer curls but I was a little rough with them so they came out looking like macaronis.

This omelete is filled with a triple cream brie, chopped scallion and crawfish - I know, an unusual combination, but I grabbed the first things I saw. I am anxious to start curling the heck out things - this 'device' is such a weird thing and it totally cracks me up.

Potatoes? When I saw the picture I was sure that they were noddles :-) The combination of omelet and the potatoes seems to be very full filling :-)

I thought they were some kind of pasta as well. Either way, they look yummy ... and I look forward to your experiments with your new curly-kew machine!

I like going for omlettes as a last resort as well. It's such a versitile dish.

Since I am a secret gadget freak, (owning hardly any gadgets myself) I must say that I fully understand the frase: "I am anxious to start curling the heck out things.. " I just felt my brain start working on it. What else can you curl? (oh, the excitement of it.. I know, I am a geek))

I'm glad you clarified, cause I couldn't tell if they were shrimp or macaroni! I love eggs, I really do, but my stomach hates them. Sometimes I'll go ahead and suffer the consequences, but not very often.

Your omelet filling is so delicious! Love that curly Q maker!

Your omelete is perfectly cooked. Adding triple cream brie takes this baby over the top. The curly device is so cool.

How neat! I totally thought you were having an omelet with beef-a-roni at first ;)

It would also be neat to see the leftover potato with all its perfect holes. I bet you could fry it on a bed of onions, like the burgers at white castle. They poke 5 holes in theirs.

If you put something cheesy/creamy on those potato "macaroni" that would be a great mac & cheese makeover :)
