curly Q
Omeletes are an easy lunch when you are in a hurry, lazy, or whatever excuse you need to make one. It doesnt take much for me to go to the egg in times of hunger.
I picked up one of these for a couple of bucks and I had to try it out. The potatoes were in longer curls but I was a little rough with them so they came out looking like macaronis.
This omelete is filled with a triple cream brie, chopped scallion and crawfish - I know, an unusual combination, but I grabbed the first things I saw. I am anxious to start curling the heck out things - this 'device' is such a weird thing and it totally cracks me up.

Potatoes? When I saw the picture I was sure that they were noddles :-) The combination of omelet and the potatoes seems to be very full filling :-)
I thought they were some kind of pasta as well. Either way, they look yummy ... and I look forward to your experiments with your new curly-kew machine!
You had me fooled, too. I want one of those device things. That's pretty cool.
I like going for omlettes as a last resort as well. It's such a versitile dish.
that curly thing is way too fun!
and yum to crawish!!
juliana: very full-filling ...LOL
diva: I cant wait to try it out on cucumbers and carrots and beets
jenn: they look so much like pasta it even fools me
lk: tasty tasty crawfish!
Those are cute potatoes for making curly fries!!!
So.. when you're in a hurry.. you're a little rough with the curly q's, quite interesting.
how cool! everything looks so tasty!
The curly fries are cute.
I got out of the bed this morning made some English tea and eggs with tuna, jalapeno and jack pepper cheese!! It was protein packed!!
And you've put crawfish in your beautiful omelette, so luxurious!
Wow. Those are potatoes? You know how to present breakfast! So fancy and fun.
Very cool, those are potatoes?! This looks like a very yummy dish!
The filling of that omelet; yummie big time!! I thought the curly stuff were shrimps.... :o)
Since I am a secret gadget freak, (owning hardly any gadgets myself) I must say that I fully understand the frase: "I am anxious to start curling the heck out things.. " I just felt my brain start working on it. What else can you curl? (oh, the excitement of it.. I know, I am a geek))
I thought they were noodles!! Christo, I have seen people with creative ideas, but you are in a class of your own!!
A gizmo I don't have? Inconceivable!
Potatoes looked cool..
I'm glad you clarified, cause I couldn't tell if they were shrimp or macaroni! I love eggs, I really do, but my stomach hates them. Sometimes I'll go ahead and suffer the consequences, but not very often.
I love kitchen gadgets! I love my julienne peeler - love making zucchini pasta with it. :D
Your omelet filling is so delicious! Love that curly Q maker!
Your omelete is perfectly cooked. Adding triple cream brie takes this baby over the top. The curly device is so cool.
How neat! I totally thought you were having an omelet with beef-a-roni at first ;)
It would also be neat to see the leftover potato with all its perfect holes. I bet you could fry it on a bed of onions, like the burgers at white castle. They poke 5 holes in theirs.
If you put something cheesy/creamy on those potato "macaroni" that would be a great mac & cheese makeover :)
As I discovered with my pressure cooker, new kitchen toys are very motivating!
Triple cream brie? Holy cow. Sounds delish. And the omelette looks amazing. I am loving that curly thing, may need to get one too.
Love these images and the omelet is wonderful!
Resolution:

The omelette looks terrific also.

Those are potatoes? So cool! And that omelette sounds decadent and amazing!
Oh Chris I am so proud of you - you eat crawfish! The combination of brie and crawfish has my head spinning, I would love this omlette for lunch today.
I ike the potatoes...very unique!

The omelette sounds amazing!
I love those 'curls'-I definitely have to get one of those now!!
A strange and useful item, in and out of the kitchen!. (nasty)GREG
YUM! This pic looks great!
They do look like macaroni - can you twist them together like the ad picture?
I love eggs! Eggs are so versatile, healthy and delicious too! We often eat eggs for dinner. Triple cream brie as ana ddition...Wow! That is just proof that your omelette was delicious! Love the curly Q's too.
