no loafing around

W
hen I finally got the long and cumbersome box from foodbuzz home after walking all the way across town because FedEx didnt call me from downstairs it took me a minute to figure out what it was, that was before I read "Bread Shipper" stamped on the outside. My loaves of Nature's Pride showed up. My first thought was I was going to use it all up instantly and make a giant bread pudding just because I could, then laziness and common sense kicked in and I made a sandwich instead.

The bread is good, I have whole wheat and 12 grain. I made this hamburger sandwich with some toasted whole wheat and it was nice and fresh.

A little sliced onion, some fresh field tomato and lettuce livened up this mustard, and mayo cheeseburger. So if you see this bread at your store, go for it! You know bakery owners only give each other recipes on a knead to know basis!

Whole wheat and 12 grains!! That's great-any idea how much fiber it has?

I got those breads, too. I'm trying to figure out what I can use them for aside from sandwiches. I think bread pudding may be in order.

Sometimes laziness is a good thing ... and tasty, too.

I love a good whole wheat bread. This looks fantastic!

Looks like a damn fine sandwich to me. So make a smaller bread pudding and have the best of both worlds.

Oh I love a good sandwich and this sounds wonderful with the whole wheat and 12 grain bread. Love it when people use puns and have a good sense of humor - "no loafing around." Great.

This might sound weird but I prefer my hamburgers on toasted bread over buns. A lot of people think I'm weird for that...there loss...it's the best:)

I got these breads too and they disappeared. I am serious! I laid them on the kitchen counter and left the house for the day. I came home and they were gone. I honestly think someone stole them, but I cannot figure out who. My contractor, my housekeeper, a neighbor, the dog? I am serious I hate to accuse them over loaves of bread but it's just too weird. so I had lunch with my YaYa's today and they were pointing out that the little jack b littles are out at the grocery store now and they wanted to make sure I make the creme brulee stuffed pumpkins again this year. Remember you got me started on those last year after your food thangie you went to? I gotta go find my torch now...

We've done burgers and sandwiches with them--I like that they don't have corn syrup.
