bust my chops

P
ork chops are so tasty it isnt even funny. I cook these babies hot and fast to get a nice crust on the outside and a tender middle all while keeping them juicy, juicy, juicy.

These chops met somewhere between delicious and attractive and in this case delicious made a bigger case - I think it was the chopped garlic and olive oil that pushed them over the edge.

Team this up with a nice baked potato and you are in hog heaven! Dont forget to make your taters!

The "juicy, juicy, juicy" reminded me of Nigella Lawson-my hubby's fave chef(?)!!

There is no reason for pork chops to be dry. These look amazing. Of course!

Did you actually make what is pictured? I mean, is the picture the actual food? Cause if it is, my God I love you!!!!!

This is a classic and if done right, never gets old. Looks delish!

Maybe that's why we've had so many dry chops. They didn't use your hot and fast method. Good to know.

Hot and fast, that's the secret... I know now, thanks Christo.

I usually cook my pork chops under the broiler, a few minutes per side, very fast, a quick dinner.

Yours look awesome!

Nothing beats a juicy garlicky pork chop for me. Where's the apple sauce? Though, I'd take that baked potato instead.

Lovely chops and the spud challenge!!! Makes me eager to join in the blogger games once more. (Why am I humming Rudolph right now?)

I've missed the fun and am ready to give up my worker bee ways. Who needs to write for money when there's a potato contest on?

Awesome looking pork chops!

We tend to use pork steaks(blade cut) as they have a bit more fat, and fry up great... Those chops look good- not too thick, with a beauty of a tender chunk on that T-bone cut...

Christo Gonzales said...

hummingbird: the broiler is a great idea...

jenn: bogart and the brady bunch...LOL

girli: um oh yeah

healthy: thats both good and bad

laurie: aw come on join in - you post anyway - might as well post about potatoes

debbie: just mash up the baked potato it will work just fine

mrslavendula: anonymous but with a name...grill marks make it taste better to me for some reason

peachkins: your hubby knows the score - are you feeling better?

5 star: everytime I look at the picture I can smell the garlic

buff: I buy loin cut, rib cut, blade cut - it doesnt matter to me the cooking process is what counts...
