bouncing back

A
fter a little bout of food poisoning that my son and I picked up from a fast food place that rhymes with hack ronald on Saturday, I am still trying to get my strength back. We dont typically eat that kind of stuff but we were going to the driving range and we were hungry and it was close by - you see the recipe for destruction right there dont you. Part of my rejuvenation process includes lots of yoghurt and eating primarily vegetarian foods. It works trust me.

Manchego, alfalfa sprouts, and avocado on fresh potato bread.

This sandwich is even better on a super nutty whole grain bread but the potato loaf is what I had.

We also snacked on papadam with tamarind and corriander chutney, tasty and light but loaded with flavor. So if you were wondering what all the vegetarianism is all about thats the reason.

Food poisoning sucks! I once had a incident with salmonella, and what saved me from the most acute trouble was tea made from anise and cumin and fresh youghurt.

it probably wasnt food poisoning, it probably was just such a shock to your system eating that fast food crap when y'all are used to your gourmet goodies.

Oh my cant imagine being down with food poisoning after my experience with it few years ago! Drains out all ur energy! Hope you recover soon. And having vegan food is the best option. Light, filling n comforting!

For what it's worth... I only seem to get sick after eating at fast food places! When I cook it, we seem to be better off....

Oh No! I hope you two feel better soon. Sucks having food poisoning. I had it once. Not fun at all. But at least you're having some fantastic veggie food while recovering.

Food poisoning is the worst. It could only be made better by that fresh avocado and the chutney that followed it - yum!

I second snugs. If you haven't eaten that type of "food" in a while, it will make you sick. I experienced the same food poisoning type symptoms when I had food from a restaurant that has the same rhyme in Vegas after having no fast food in forever. My high school students who at it all the time were fine.

Yum on your remedies though!

My husband and I got a really bad case of food poisoning in Morocco a few years ago. I wasn't able to touch anything except fresh raw vegetables for about a few weeks after that. Pumpkin Soup was about as
cooked as I could stomach.
