cant think straight

I have eaten more soup than a person who only eats soup. I sweat profusely and I feel better temporarily before my hacking cough returns. As a result of all this soupyness I cant have an original thought to save my life.

I am eager to follow or copy or flat out steal ideas at the drop of a ladle. When buffalo was complaining about some onion soup he made I had to make some, so I did, the funny thing is I was wanting to eat this for a few days and he just sped it up a little.

Onions and garlic are great antibiotics and antioxidants and since I wont take medicine this is the only way I roll. I made a crouton with a little bufala mozzarella and some goat cheese and this rounded it out nicely.

A standby regular is a bowl of New Mexico green chile. This is made with a little ground beef and some potatoes and a generous amount of hot green chile. Once again I am in that uncomfortable position of having to explain the difference between 'chili' and 'chile' so rather than work my already ill self up I will tell you that, to me, 'chili' comes out of a can and you put it on hot dogs.

The french onion soup looks especially good to me - I haven't had one in a very long time. I'm sorry to hear that you're still not feeling well. Hope you will get better very soon. Maybe if we finally get some warmer weather, that will help.

Get some rest and feel better soon!!!

That french onion looks pretty good, btw. Love how the soup isn't covered by a large piece of toast and cheese. Haven't had that in a while.

Time will do the trick, and of course the soup treatment! chili in a bottle? ok maybe I'll have to call it chile from now on.

This soup with these amazing croutons looks so fabulous! Where is the recipe? Or do we have to get sick to make it?

I'm starting to wonder if germs can be transmitted electronically --seems like half of us are sick.

Feel better, friend.
