all spice all star
" I love to try exotic spices," she said gingerly. With that I peppered my language liberally throwing out words like "cardamom" and "fenugreek" just to watch her twitch. Soon she will swoon and I will have her at bay and then it would be wise to heed some sage advice.........
Add on to it as much as you want I have coconut curry soup to make. I started with 31 mini meatballs of scallion, ginger and garlic chives that I put in the oven to cook.
I simmered a broth with cardamom, ginger, curry, lemon grass, chiles, shallots and garlic.
I strained the broth and added coconut milk, served each bowl with a couple of meatballs a little extra chile and a side of jasmine rice.
There is a secret to getting rice so fluffy and nice - and if I told you how it wouldn't be a secret anymore now would it? I am still not back to my "A" game yet but my "B" game is catching up.

You're a master of seduction.
Oh, and I want that secret ...
I ditto the Diva on both counts..
diva: did you say that 'gingerly'
snugs: the designated ditto - but the rice is a secret

Man, you had me at that fluffy rice. What can I do to persuade you to part with that secret, mate? :)
Ooooo... Please tell me you saved me some.
Cayenne I curry your favor and gingerly plea that in thyme you will tell us how to make fluffy rice?
Sniffing greedily! All my favourite spices! I'd love some of that soup, and please a little box of mixed spices, that I can take the lid of every now and then, just to sniff!
I can't believe you are not prepared to share your rice secret. What do we have to do to get you to share?
Wishing that would ship well....sadly going to have to keep staring at the photos! It looks amazing.

tavolini: I barley thought people would understand

I cannot believe this isn't A game. So beautiful, it's almost a shame to know it was eaten. I'd say you are back...but I would also say, you never left. So who am I say to anything?
Beautifully plated!
You're talking about Beth, right???
I love it when you talk spice (speaking gingerly).
This is brilliant! I will definitely make this. You're really good at turning simple into extraordinary.
