relatively speaking

M
y aunt oxidant came by for a little visit. Blueberries have more antioxidants in one little handful than you could possibly use in a day. Blueberry pinwheels chock full of goodness ready to bake.

fresh baked pinwheels straight from the oven are so hard to ignore but you have to or that bubbly goodness will permanently scar you - its like hot lava. A little cream cheese, a little puff pastry and some blueberries go a long way and when you sprinkle on a little vanilla sugar you come out like a rock star.

Grits and polenta are kissing cousins.

Grilled chicken breast with grilled zucchini, spinach and yesterdays grits that were cut into rounds and reheated.

Trust me this is nothing like breakfast cereal!

You are so right! Those hot berries sure can be like Lava! I burned my chin testing a macaroni noodle last winter. The boiling water dripped. I had a terrible blister. Boy did that hurt!

These look so great. Maybe I'll serve them for breakfast in the morning.

Okay, graham cracker crust, chocolate swirl cheesecake, with caramel topping! I have made a blueberry cheesecake- infused in the batter(blueberry syrup) and topped with a blueberry sauce! Reminded me too much of the kid who became a blueberry in the Gene Wilder Willy Wonka movie!

Blueberry pinwheels are such a great idea compared to the regular cinnamon walnut ones. I just read an article saying that blueberries contains more anti-oxidants than acai. I've been buying a bunch of blueberries, they are in season. Gonna make your recipe. Sounds delicious

The pinwheels look amazing! Blueberries are, like, I don't know, $100 a pound here in Thailand, so I will have to wait until I get back to Chicago to make them.

Omg, I have to say, that first picture of the pinwheels FREAKED ME OUT. I thought you were up to some crazy-looking bone marrow insanity!!! I got goosebumps. But then, when I read that they were blueberry pinwheels, I calmed down and appropriately started salivating.
