That pork looks luscious! Is that riced potato?

What a colorful plate that turned out to be!

I got behind reading this and didn't comment on the shrimp bisque that sounded as if it would taste and smell wonderful! I want some of that, too.

Its the slow cooking, thats what we like! Its all about time with things like that! Did the purple potatoes taste like ordinary potatoes? It looks very dandy indeed!

My son would love the purple worms. Do you just put them through a ricer?

Christo Gonzales said...

mandi: you must be a mind reader

snugs: the pie experienced a little explosion when I inadvertently left it on a warm burner and the glass pan popped

maggie: thats it - just put them through a ricer...

I love the purple potato... I have been on the prowl for a potato ricer...

I also think the shrimp bisque sounds divine..

The pork looks amazing - my problem is that I don't like how meat tastes as much as I like how it looks.

PS. Love your new photo styling.. nice job

I keep thinking, those potatoes look like something someone would throw around their neck at a cabaret!

Just telling it like it is said...

That is a first for me the purple potato but that apple pie...I think I just gained 2 pounds drooling over it! yummmy!!!

It's pretty, but I don't eat purple food. That's the rule.

Christo Gonzales said...

chef e: not much - a little salt a little pepper and a touch of butter

zombie mom - thanks and the ricers are available on the cheap at IKEA

anette: like a feather boa?

just telling: hey this pie was 'light' just some apples and a bit of sugar

marjie: so no grapes, no blueberries, no beets, -and no purple potatoes....
