cracked

My laptop got jacked up last week - I was heartbroken and then my wallet felt a solid but heavy slap. I waited a day or two so I wouldnt have buyers remorse, I waited even longer to say something about it, but the cats out of the bag now. Brand new MacBook Pro - old and beat up Powerbook G4 - too expensive to fix it so a new one was the right choice.

We played in the snow to relieve the stress.

Oh, how I would love to get myself a new macbook pro. I feel like my PB G4 is about to crap out on me, so I'm always backing everything up.

What a good way to relieve stress. I want to play in the snow now!!

I'd love a new laptop! My 2 year old keeps tearing the keys off mine! Most of them could be popped back on, but I only have 1 shift key and my "n" is missing. I got so annoyed that I bought a wireless keyboard so I didn't have to deal with it anymore. :)

jenn: it wasnt on top of my to-do list thats for sure

bridgett: love it!

melody: if you have a G4 I will sell the new battery and ramm for cheap!

Next computer I get will be a Mac. I'm so tired of all the problems with a pc. sorry it had to be a sudden expense for you though. But those snow creations are really fun looking.

Nice computer! Sorry about the old one.

Hate losing a computer - what a hassle; Love snow days and new computers. The yin and yang of it all. :)

I feel your pain about the laptop...but have fun with your new Mac.

I'm beside myself with envy at your snowy fun. It's just been dreary, gray and rainy on Cape Cod. Only good thing, the storm washed up all kinds of good things - like clams.

It's a blow when it finally happens! I lost a lot of things when my PC broke down, you would have thought that I would be better at backing up stuff on my new one! (note to self back up photos) Anyway your winter joy looks Fun!!

We went sledding over the weekend too, it was so much fun!

My husband spilled water on our new mac book a few months ago, but luckily it still works, and apparently when that happens, your warranty does not cover that!

Sorry about your old one, but the new one is fancy!

Love the igloo.
I have been using the same old computer and cell phone for 5 years.
I am so tech challenged, you would be alarmed.

Aww, that's rough about your computer!! I did the same thing last year--we ended up hooking it up to an old monitor and using it that way.

Sledding looks like a ton of fun! Great photos of the kids in the snow cave :)

LOVE the snow stuff! We used to make igloos when I was growing up. It was so fun.

Sucks about your laptop, but hey, at least you got a new one.
