point is

I wish I had some witty blog where every sentence was a catchy phrase where every photo was a lusty one, a blog where I scratched through words like fuck you and replaced them with pardon my french, but I dont. I have this blog. My blog, a blog with my name in it. Sure I can call it anything I want but the URL remains the same and thats exactly what it is - a little bit of me. I have thought long and hard about 're-emerging' as a different me but it just wont work. What would I call 'me'? Everyone I know and more I dont know are 'privy' to this blog. The idea that bloggers go 'private' is kind of QUEER to me. I guess there are a lot of liars out there.

Not that it particularly matters, but I like this you and this blog. I don't comment often, but I read daily...

BTW - love the beach pictures, love your food and love reading about how a guy from the Southwest lives in NYC...

I don't know what has you thinking about re-emerging, but I am grateful that you are staying you and blogging your thoughts and experiences....

I don't plan any changes for mine either! Must be a guy thing. Your blog is fine just the way it is!

You are blessed to be who you are. Not everyone is going to like you. Their loss. Could you imagine how boring the world would be if we were all the same?? I sure as heck wouldn't want everyone to be me ! I just accept the differences. "Lord let me see everyone the way that you see them."

I've been feeling that kind of ass pain for about two weeks now- time to crap on somebody- even if it's wrong...

I changed mine because there are features I want to use that aren't available on the template I chose when I started my blog in 2002. They've updated the features quite a bit during the last six years and have made them easier to use. I loved my other one but decided that people could find me on the new one. I miss being able to do some things I could on the old one, so it was a difficult decision. In the scheme of things, who really cares? LOL

Hey Dog, I didnt think you were, sorry I should have written more in that comment, when I read it back is sounds a bit short, but hey I get you and you get me, so we are cool!!

I've considered going private but gave up! You know some of the bloggy nasties there are and I'm not at all interested in them so I do what I do the best I can. What is it that's bugging you Mr DB? It's kind of PMSish, guy version? Wish I could help...
There's as many different reasons for blogging as there are fish in the sea- to each his own as long as I can pick and choose. If I do go private I'll be sure not to leave you out in the cold. :)
PS- you have a very DB blog which I enjoy very much.

In addition- I think of it like hair cuts. Some people have the same hair cut their whole life, others change it every other month- color and all. There's something to be said for both ways of doing things!
Sorry to be so verbose on the matter!

joy: change is good - change is not the problem

mandi: I hear you....

aka: maybe it is a PMS'y thing who knows...

I love your blog because you're you! I love how absolutely amazing you are with food, and you share it with us! And I LOVE the close relationship you have with your son. I wish my sons had that with their father.

And oh yea, there are a lot of liars out there, but unfortunately, I'm not able to be one! LOL Just call me Miss. Honesty.

I like your blog. But I like the idea of the wild, new "DoggyBloggy"

Maybe have an alter ego post once a month.
