jicama

Not too many people know what is jicama. I googled jicama and the results were just way too much.

My kid, in all is regular-ness, suggested we google, google- just to see. Well we googled google and we didnt get jicama.

Some guy from Canada graffiti'd my roof.

I like what he did.

the hands of banana

I like this rooster beak too, I mean really who doesnt like 'pico de gallo'

Then we had way too much corn.

Again: lovely colors! And the grafitti was not bad either!
These days I hear myself say quite often (mostly to people older than me) "have you googled it?" cause I've found there is loads of interesting information about anything, if you just use your critic sence a bit of course. I'm not buying anything!

I meant "buying everything" of course...

You crack me up, Beth!

I like the graffiti. Could we see more of banana?

I do that, too, Anette. In fact, when I was explaining about my grandson who has Asperger's, I said instead of having a reciprocal conversation, it's as if he googles his brain to find a connection to something they said. Then he gives a response that could be from a movie, song, or story. It doesn't exactly make sense conversationally but does to him. He's getting better with this now that his "village" (school and family) is working with him.

Obviously, I do this too! LOL

anette: thanks - some of the older people I know (like my parents) have no clue what google is

mandi: everyone should have their own graffiti artist...

har: at least it looks like that in the photos...

claudia: dont you read my blog? who is banana?

buff: that meal sounds great - we did ribs, again, yesterday.

beth: YOU know about jicama...amazing!

michelle: sounds like a salad is in the works

joy: there are banana cameos every now and again

I've been all over this blog. I decided to catch up on posts I missed before I started reading it and found all kinds of neat things. Love those pictures of NM and wish I were there. I mostly looked at pictures and stopped to read when something caught my eye. Good stuff!

Love the artwork! Our Festival is usually held the third Saturday in August. My flat farm is 25 miles south west of Buffalo. Next year I will give a heads up in my blog if any of my blogger friends are interested.

slip: Man if I would have known we would have been out there in our tent as well..

tavolini: well put!

queenie: night time and flash makes the colors pop..

TK: Is it still graffiti if you are letting them do it?

Jicama. Isn't that what you used to give your girlfriend in high school?

You can never have enough corn. And I say this having just returned from Peru.

Good thing you like the graffiti. Saves you $$ in white paint.

Christo Gonzales said...

Urban: I probably said jicama 8 times before I realized it was hickey...LOL I least I think thats what you mean...white paint only entices more graffiti - organized graffiti keeps graffiti away...

I love jicama ... and for the record, there is not such thing as too much corn...

Well, outside of the Omnivore's Dilemma, of course..

Nice art

zombie: what is the omnivores dilemma? Just when you think you know it all along comes this...

spin: I like that it isnt 'tagging' that we have had on this roof as of late..at least this is some kind of concept...I will show photos of the near by rooftops so you can compare

And wow, really? Someone drew that stuff on your roof? Pretty cool.

My Updates blog? I guess so since it's the only one with actual archives. It was sort of scary from June 2002 until February 2003 but my usual babbly self otherwise. Thanks for checking it out and spending that time. :-)

I enjoyed yours and still do.
