65 till the end of the year

Thats not 65 days its 65 posts till I reach my goal of 365, or is it 366 because of Leap Year...no matter.

16 beans, and boy do they look good but if you dont like blackeyed peas then this isnt for you since blackeyed peas take over the flavor, the pup loves beans, the pup did not love these beans.

I'll tell you what is good though; goat cheese raviolis with a roasted red pepper couli and pesto.

These little pasta cushions are so tasty and the tang from the couli mixed with the goat cheese, then balanced out by the olive oil in the pesto makes you just want to streak.

Those look gorgeous! You use such exotic ingrediants. I think buying a block of cheddar is exotic!

better be careful, it is a little too cool there to be running around naked, you will catch cold!

Oh my God that ravioli looks so freaking good.

And I was told it's "I don't know, he is usually at home".

harmony: that would be pretty cool,I would love to see my dishes all over your walls....

TBD: cheddar can be exotic...and red peppers are exotic only when you say 'couli'

snugs: that wont be all I'll catch....

bina: Ok, I just thought the joke was that he wasnt home, but if he is home....hmmmmmm is this a solo kind of thing?

Those ravioli look amazing!

It all looks delicious! I make bean soup and love it. I'd rather have what you cook, though.

beth: I like black eyed peas too but I think I like them by themselves with some bacon or fatback, and I did not do a custom bean mix, I bought the 16 bean bag.....

TK: I just like saying 'couli' in my best french accent

tavolini: I am down to about the size of a block of cream cheese, I think I am going to go get another and try cheesecake.

joy: awwwww, that warms my heart.

A total visual hit! Good photos!

Christo Gonzales said...

beth: I guess I should be flattered...what does gay have to do with it - I know so many gay's that have the worst taste in everything including men...gay has nothing to do with it....LOL - I am not gay, nor have I ever been - I have been gay bait though.....

buff: thanks bud!

My family loves beans! I make all kinds of soups. Last week I made a navy bean soup. I found some big meaty hamhocks to throw it them! Delish!

blogging about food rules

Christo Gonzales said...

michelle: I thought about using either smoked turkey or hamhocks - I get it would have helped with the blackeyed pea flavor

mandi: do something quick...

carrie: it does and welcome - I checked out one of your blogs the one with pumpkins - I never know what to do when someone has a lot of blogs....often they are not all up to date...

Christo Gonzales said...

snugs: sadly I cannot say no to 69, so if its 69 thats needed its 69 I will do.

I last ate legume beans in 1975, when they did terrible things to my digestive system. I won't go into details, because it was not pretty. So I'm with the pup on not eating these beans. The ravioli looks nice.

OK, pass the raviolies and nobody gets hurt. Do you really have some of my stuff on your reader still? I would love a few of the sentimental ones, anything regarding spirituality, my kids, my grandma...I would owe you big time.
