back to basics

M
an oh man did I need to regroup after the little soiree yesterday eve. The energy was electrifying and the drinks were stupefying so as a result I was nullified.

There were two things that helped today; the eggs benedict I made this morning and was too out of it to photograph, and the tacos I had for lunch. Tacos are what cures you when the night before is what ails you, in fact there is a big ol' list of remedies but I wanted tacos.

Crunchy, fried, blue corn tortillas and the rib meat from the barbecue the other day run through the grinder and seasoned all chile style. Three or four of these and you are ready for round two!

My grandpa said raw eggs and worcestershire sauce with tomato juice would cure the dog that bit you. Seemed to me the cure was worse than the problem in his case!

To me, this is summer style - to me, this weather and your blue tacos make for a perfect day.

Blue corn tortillas? I had no idea. For me the best hangover recipe in the world is a toasted cheese and chilli sandwich. Although I must admit, yours looks pretty tasty.

Yep, those tacos look like they could cure a lot of things. Delish! (And I hear you on the eggs first thing in the morning; I totally buy into the eggs-cure, too.)

that's my kind of hangover food - a nice greasy taco (maybe some breakfast ones and then later lunch too) - or of course, the standby of a great burger and fries. hope that tasty looking taco remedied the situation!
