lunch a bunch

W
hen I have to make lunch for a bunch pasta always raises its hand first and gets picked everytime. You shout out "who wants to feed a crowd" and pasta is like jumping up and down doing the pee-pee dance shouting "me, me, me" as loud as it can. Hard to let that kind of motivation go to waste so pasta it is.

Spinach and ricotta ravioli with four cheese alfredo. The raviolis were simmered in the sauce to cook and absorb the cream and cheese then garnished lightly with spring onions and rose petals.

Not enough? How about a tzatziki pork chop with early peas?

Real good! Not that pretty but a great personality!

Great idea about simmering the ravioles in the sauce. I bet my son will like that and I will take the pork. It does look good.

ramya: we had such beautiful roses and the petals were falling off so it hit to me to use them...

buff: then you better schedule an intervention because these arent your ordinary 4 cheeses..

pooja: to tempt a non-pork eater is an accomplishment....thanks

reeni: well they cant dance and they make their own clothes but they have great personalities...

merm: big peas need love too!

Now that's a new way to do a pork chop. We thought it was that alfredo sauce at first, but after reading the t word, that's even better.

you and your damn raviloli is what has forced this salad binge!

Ya know, I love the way you think, doggy. The rose petals ... such a cool touch.

Oh that pork chop looks divine!! So does the ravioli. Nice touch with the rose petals. Bring a little elegance to the pasta. Though, I'm not sure if that's what you were going for.

Christo Gonzales said...

marjie: you are out of this world!

pam: as long as the pasta isnt over cooked...

duo: it tastes all greeky to me with the yogurt sauce...

snugs: oh

diva: that is such a nice thing to say...thanks

jenn: I am not shy to say that is exactly what I was trying to do -otherwise imagine those ravioli blobs by themselves...LOL
