see it, want it

Last night, well it was actually this morning around 3:30, I read this and I could not get pizza out of my mind. I had everything I needed to make any kind I wanted and I did.

Black olive, garlic, clams and sauce.

Pepperoni for the kid.

More clams for me. Thanks Tavolini for the inspiration, oh and I forgot to mention that I put oregano in the dough for added italian flavor.

Never had clams on a pizza, very interesting, definitely something to try in a future.

Yeah, I'm probably going to be stuck making pizza for Pi day. The kids love it; me, not so much. But I'd give one slice of that pepperoni a try!

Saw it, want it! All of it. My current favorite toppings are prosciutto and gorgonzola but will gladly settle for crust, sauce and cheese.

Making pizza at 3:30 a.m.? If I lived at your house, I'd weigh 500 pounds.

I've never had clams on my pizza before! Am I missing out?

Did you make them around 04.00 in the morning, and wake your kid up to a pizza breakfast? You must be a good dad! You can't beat pizza the home made style!

TBD: sausage is one of my favorites...

joie: I would have to say - yes.

anette: no, not this time...but I have done things like this before in the early hours...

pizza at 3:30 am? Sounds like drunk munchies to me, glad you waited til later so you didn't get burnt.

awww, thanks!!!

Clams sound EXCELLENT on pizza. Did they get overcooked at all or still taste fine? I'd like to try calamari on pizza sometime. I think the fried crispiness would be good.

oh, and I did eat my pizza around 3 am :/

Clams and garlic and olives sounds fantastic! I might add a healthy dose of crushed red pepper, and now I need some pizza.

It's breakfast time, and we're seeing pizza! How are we going to make it to lunch with all of this goodness going on?

buff: I, oddly enough, never thought to do it before...

harmony: they gave me the pizza bug - the clam bug I gave myself

snugs: I only read about it at 3:30...duh

tavolini: I blast the oven at around 500 so the pizzas cook really fast - I noticed your blog post was only minutes before I read it - so I figured

bina: pizza is a blank canvas

hornsfan: I cant wait to see what you do with it

lisaiscooking: oh yeah - a little red pepper would be perfect - I also had some sauteed jalapenos and onions

pinknest: yes to the stone - they really do make the crust... well.... crusty

chefE: I am not sure a gluten free pizza is going to be the same

mo: I cant wait!

duo: pizza for breakfast - perhaps?

donna: they are mini pies so maybe you would like your own pie?

The clams sound wonderful! I'm thinking clams and leeks (since they are sitting in my fridge). Tomorrow is going to be pizza day.
