grits au gratin
Cracked cooked hominy, four cheeses, or five cheeses or three or two or one -just use cheese. Bake till bubbly and golden and serve with breakfast. This is a more chunky grit.

I've never been able to get close to grits...
I *heart* grits - add some cheese and I am in heaven!
I haven't worked up the nerve to try em.. even when in Alabama. I guess I'll have to some day.

I never ategrits before I met my husband...and he makes them with lots and lots of cheese....ohmygod, are they good!!!!
i ADORE grits. if there was a grit diet, id' be skinny.
if there was a beer diet, i'd be skinny.
if there was a bread diet, i'd be skinny...anything but a low-cal fruits & veggies diet.

they look cripsy and scrumptous. this would be terrific with a pork roast on a chilly day. or anyday. anyday is good for cheese & pork
