step by step

Lets see how to begin. Since I have been a fan of Julia Child since the 70's this puts me in a different slot. Now how do I, with only my rustic approach, appease the palletes? I do it with taste. If it tastes good then it is good. Today we are making Indian food. Lamb vindaloo or whatever with potatos and okra and peas. I also made jasmin rice Rice cooker with cardamon beans.
Tasty. Then we made flat bread. whatever is your normal way.dough then a hot surface and some bread,.Pile up the bread and then make more..After you make a few you are ready, so you make a plate with a yoghurt sauce with mint and sweet onions and then eat.good luck.

Love lamb, but have never tackled Indian cuisine to where I am comfortable with results. Could be next project....

Beth: i heard inbreds have other uses for sheep..lol
Buff: one secret is to put the spices in a dry pan and toast them a little it brings out the flavor, and each type has different results of course..like garam masala has more cinnamon and is a little sweeter for example.

Doggy, your naan looks great! I have recently become obsessed with cooking indian food...it is soooo good. I make something similar to what you made but I think I use ground lamb, peas and tomates. As for the rice...I started added cumin seed to it when I steam it. Yum! Now, I am getting hungry!!!

Ma: I have used ground lamb too I mix mint, curry and onions and make meatballs, I will test curry in the rice but I usually use cardamon and rarely I will put in some tumeric if I want to make it yellow.
