turkey trot

Swedish meatballs have been one of my favorites since I was a kid, growing up in a small town in New Mexico having something called 'swedish meatballs' was over the top. I like the IKEA version, I like any version I am not picky when it comes to meatballs and gravy. Shady Brook Farms sent me some turkey bacon and a breast and some meatballs so I did what came naturally. I made a BLT with the turkey bacon and I made meatballs with mushroom gravy with the meatballs, I havent used the breast yet.

Lightly browned then simmered in mushroom gravy with a few green onions and a little red chile finished off this favorite.

Don't get me started on ikea meatball. I love those little meaty goodness. It's like forget the furniture, I'm here for the food. I haven't tried turkey meatballs yet. I think that's the next thing I make.

I have yet to step foot in an Ikea but I have heard good things about their meatballs:) I love what you did what your balls (that doesn't really sound right...) Anyway the mushroom gravy was a great choice for the meatballs. I bet it was delicious!
