once upon a twenty four hours

I post about food I dont post about eating. I thinks thats so funny! If you are too weak you should turn away now its only going to get worse!

Burgers and fries. I like my cheese melted my son does not.

I think it gives it some 'tension' when you have the melted cheese going upwards. Thoughts?

Snacks from Marias a little shack of a place near where we live.

I like the empanada de camaron or the fried shrimp pastry, in English.

Later it was a mess -o- langostines.

Langostines served with chow fon noodles and dumplings and the related sauces. So there you go, what was your day like?

Have you ever done a piece about vegetarian dishes, or something a bit more carb-consious?

Just wondering.. Those scampi actually look a bit overcooked

Laura said...

I can guarantee mine looked nothing like that

Langostines don't thrill me. They look like they're staring up off the plate. The church down the hill is having a Labor Day Bull roast on Monday. They like to say that this weekend their church is full of bull.

i'm enjoying the upsidedown cheese burger, it does tend to calm!

what do langostines taste like? they look a bit like lobster tails.

I have never had the pleasure of trying a langostine. If you have leftovers... i will bring spanish rice. :-D

Well, my day was more on the squash casserole side of things ;)

Langoustines look awesome--I've never had those! And I could always go for a fry or two.

Can I just call them lobster from Norway? I bet it still tastes good.

Those empanadas looks really good. Never had a shrimp filled one before. I think you just gave me an idea.

I've never had my cheese melted up upwards. Interesting. I've got to try that. But I have to have my cheese melted on my burger.

Those langostines look mighty good, too. Resembles that of the lobster tail. Yum!

So far my day's been nothing like yours! Um, yogurt mixed with nuts and fruit?! :( LOL

As for the burgers, I like my cheese melted and I don't think I've ever thought to turn it upside down. Will have to give that a try!

grundie: I post vegetarian and vegan all the time

laura: you are prepping for something

marjie: that is pretty funny - they actually butcher a bull or a steer?

teresa: they are somewhere between a crayfish and a shrimp

mo: we blinked and they were gone - maybe next time

tavolini: cartagena is coastal so if you go there eat plenty

micky: hey that works

jenn: these are so good and filled with about 4-5 shrimps for a buck fifty

diva: hey nuts and fruit sounds great

An upside-down cheeseburger? Must be a reflection of your upside-down life. My life is right-side up and busy or I would have been here sooner.

Those are some nice langostines! I love them, but my supermarket doesn't carry them too often, I usually get them whenever I see them.
