who-da-thunk

A
vocado ice cream is pretty darn good. I'm not just saying that because I made it I am saying that because I keep on wanting to eat it.

Forget that I made my own malted waffle cones, forget that it is all natural, forget that I can make it again anytime I want.

What you should remember is what Sam I am said when you start making fun of this like some of you did with the cheesecake (snugs). Sam ended up liking it EVERYWHERE! Look its a fancy cone because its in a cognac glass!

Basic ice cream recipe except with the addition of two small avocados and the juice of half a lime- its mean-its green and its delicious. I could blindfold anyone (as long as they are not allergic) and you would notice a richness that you could not identify but you would not go "ick is this green, is there avocado in this?"

Avocado ice cream is a grown-up flavor but a grown up flavor that even a kid could love.

I'm imagining the rich texture from the avocado, and now I want to taste it! Looks great in the cone too.

zen: you know what? I do...come and get it!

jenn: this is a manual ice cream maker that doesnt do diddly - I use the freezing container and mix it by hand

lisa: thanks - it is good and its a confusing, hard to define flavor...

finsmom: they have been cheap (by new york standards) plus I love them

Matches the color of my eyes and I'm sure your ice cream is as sweet as me!

I'm so silly...this looks fabulous and sinfully creamy.

I'd'a thunk the cones alone were worth every bite!

I want some! Awesome cones, too...man I'm craving some green after reading these past couple of posts!

jill: thats exactly the point - this ice cream is as sweet as jill's pretty green eyes

marjie: they were but they could have been better if the humidity would've let me crispy them up

girli: I eat so much green during green times its ridiculous

Stacey is right, you are the mad food scientist. ( emphasis on mad) Go ahead and pack some on dry ice and send it to me and I will taste it.(throw in a sliver of that ugly ass cheesecake too) Until then I am gonna stick with my gut and my gut tells me there is just something really really wrong with what you are doing to avacados lately!

I live in SoCal and avocados are HUGE and I've nver heard of avocado ice cream (or cheesecake)....are you gonna make eat outside of my box? LOL. so shouldn't the cone be made of tortilla chips or something? give me a few margs and i'll do it!
No but seriously, it looks fantastic and is very intriguing.
