avocado cheesecake

T
here aint' no typo there, I said 'avocado cheesecake' and thats what I meant! When you can get avocados for a buck each and they are big avocados then you tend to buy five avocados and you end up with way too many avocados, at least I do - anyway.

Avocado cheesecake makes sense, its creamy, its a fruit and it likes to play along with others. (not like me in any way)

Anyway how many ways can I say 'any' and 'way' and 'anyway' and still get away with it-anyway?

I love it! In Feb. a few of us did avocados in dessert, and had a wonderful time. Glad to see others playing, too.

Holy Cow! Was it good? Did you answer that already...My brain is stuck on avocado + cheesecake...which sounds (oddly?) great! Would a spicy fruit salsa be good w/ this???

Very interesting indeed!! I totally like this idea! How was the taste? creamy, nutty-ness? I would have loved a slice! How's the mushroom hunting going by the way? Any good ones?

Cheese cake is my all time favourite, but I never had a chance before to try avocado one.
You are right, it does make sense to use avocado to make the cheesecake, due to its buttery creamy rich flavour.
Thanks, Christo, for sharing it!

I love avocado, but now you are scaring me!
You are the mad food scientist, I am certain.

snugs said...

well I am glad Donna liked that! I still don't get it, it's in the same category as those potato popsicles that won a few weeks ago; who would really want to eat a potato popsicle?

Phfrankie Bondo said...

...that, Sir, is a stroke of genius...

Superb. I love the hint of green. I wish there was another color swirled/marbled in it :)

Guacamole what?! :D

I don't know whether I should be grossed out by this or not? Can you taste the avacado in it? I just am trying to imagine...

I'm awaiting the invasion.

Did you make this cheesecake sweet or savory? (I hope you didn't already answer that question...I'm too lazy today to read all of the comments.)

FOODalogue said...

Verrrry interesting...and like the bloggers who commented before me, I immediately thought of toppings and couldn't decide whether it should be sweet or savory. I guess it could go either way.

Bob said...

Oh wow. I never would have thought of that, I need more details!
