thats the way the cookie crumbles

I have been like a recipe and technique vulture lately, if you have some secret way of doing things and I catch on to it I exploit the beans out of it and these cookies are no different. The cookies themselves are not that big of a deal, they are "basic" cookies as far as I am concerned; oatmeal, cranberries, white chocolate, 'treacle' and a little cardamon as a 'secret' ingredient, but what makes them different is the baking technique used to insure uniform size and shape for future applications.

I saw someone make cookies like this the other day and the idea stuck with me.

They came out perfect (almost...not quite...ok they came out) and I cant wait to start stage two which will be a sandwich of delicious proportions. This is the first batch - sorry for the blurry picture I was busy.

Speaking of cookies my wonderful friends at foodbuzz and our friends at Organica Deluxe sent me some ginger cookies. I get so excited from treats in the mail, but who doesnt? Check them out they have some 'sweet' things and organic, in case you couldnt tell.

Cookies in muffin tins. Interesting. Bet they bake up crisp on the bottom and soft in the middle!

I dreamed about you again last night. This time we were at some add-a-dish gathering, and I kept stealing your food (that you'd made) from your bowl and plate while I thought you weren't looking. You caught me and told me to get my own. I told you it was gone because everyone had taken it all because it was so good and that I wanted some. I'd already asked you for some earlier, and you wouldn't let me have any, which doesn't sound like you in real life. I think you'd have shared since you could always make more and know I couldn't cook the way you do. Why would you just eat what you made and not try some of the other stuff anyway?

That's all I remember. Weird.
