I stole this from this guy, a song from 'back in the day.' Pretty much sums it up I would think, today Jethro Tull speaks for me....

That one sounds better but here is a live version....

You dont care to listen or watch, then here are the lyrics....

Dont want to be a fat man,
People would think that I was
Just good fun.
Would rather be a thin man,
I am so glad to go on being one.
Too much to carry around with you,
No chance of finding a woman who
Will love you in the morning and all the night time too.
Dont want to be a fat man,
Have not the patience to ignore all that.
Hate to admit to myself half of my problems
Came from being fat.
Wont waste my time feeling sorry for him,
I seen the other side to being thin.
Roll us both down a mountain
And Im sure the fat man would win.

Its Friday! What can I say?

I've never heard that song before. I don't get it. Why do you have karma issues?

Karma...yes one reason I came to St Louis for two weeks, to get off my lazy arse and walk...just got back from walking two miles to shop for my son's apartment...

micky-t: it is worth it isnt it?

stacey: you too but no tequila for me!

TBD: Oh its a long short story...I'll get over it soon...

snugs: nope! I gotta wait till the sun goes down - I got nothing on the menu and no one needing anything either...

chef e: purge away - how is St. Louis - is it warmer or colder over there?

well OJ's bad karma caught up with him, he might appreciate some cookies, or a meal fit for a wolf or something since you have free time :)

Karma is the unfolding of some future equinox that you yourself fuel. It is clear and uncomplicated - a simple 9 mile jaunt every morning liberates the soul.

snugs: my karma is fine its being trapped in an elevator with someone whos karma isnt so fine - wait that would be karma wouldnt it?

anndi: thanks and a big hug right back...

bina: its from the 70s

chef e: that is a 'brisk walk'

ap: that would do a lot with out a doubt...

Disturbing fat guy picture. I had an uncle who always married fat women - the skinny one admitted to 4 bills - and they disturbed me too. I think there were 3 or 4 such wives, but don't really care...I don't like to be disturbed. We all have issues!

As for the beer drinking, Ben Franklin said that beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy. I hate the stuff anyway, but go enjoy one in honor of old Ben, would'ya?

Christo Gonzales said...

jds223: well thank you - and glad you came by!

marjie: Ben did say something like that didnt he...and as for 'admitting to 4 bills' what does that mean? We do all have issues thats for sure....

I must say, your food looks delicious. If only I had the time.

You know, I think there are worse things than being fat. Like, say, being a hypocrite. Or lacking integrity. Being petty. Or a gossip. Perseverative. Predictable.

Oh, and you know what else I find sad? People who make fake profiles for the purpose of commenting rudely without accountability. Or, *LOL*, even more pathetic, to back themselves up when they comment on others' blogs, or post on their own.

See? Worse things than being fat.
