inner was not always this elaborate -typically we hit the buffet but on a couple of occasions we went to the Rotterdam dining area for some upscale fare.

We got all dressed up and occupied two tables. See the 'tall kid' he is on his tippy toes!

The starters were good, this one is a Mariners Ceviche

and this one is Salmon Tartar

and this one is Escargot - I had them all at one point or another.

There was quail,

there was duck

and there was filet mignon with lobster tail.

We ordered extra lobster tails.

We posed for a lot of photos - often.

Look, everyone is a chef!

Coming up - desserts!

The quail looks super! That's the one that we'd like to try the most. But the duck also looks nice. And the salmon...

This is very cool! I love the pics--very good food! My mom, grandma and I did a similar cruise down the Alaskan coast about ten years ago. It's one of my favorite memories.

I haven't been that "Pressed and Dressed" since my last Court appearance... Family looked great! Wonderful looking food on that boat. Please don't tell me you didn't have any King, or Snow crab..that's why I'd go there...

Yes please, the filet mignon and lobster tails and if you don't mind, a half dozen extra tails.

THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!

I am so behind on keeping up with you. You take such great pictures, even of other peoples food! I feel like I can see Alaska from here does that mean I am effervescent like Palin?

I loved the food when we went to the fine dining room on our crusie - my husband had the escargot but I wasn't brave enough.

What a beautiful family you have!

You and the Pup clean up nice. I presume the wife is the babe in the picture with you and the pup? And now I have to go make breakfast. I should know better than to visit you before breakfast...

No wonder everyone looks quite happy - look at the food that was awaiting you! I will take any of those dishes but the starters - ceviche, tartar, escargot - would be top picks.
