bar food

I make wings a lot they are easy and they taste good and you can eat them with your hands. Things you can eat with your hands are priority in kidville. No fussy salad forks or soup spoons to deal with just raw mitts and plenty of napkins. I dont think I have ever made wings the same way twice, I always try something different - like that time I used vegemite.

These wings were first tossed with a little salt, pepper, celery salt and hot red chile then dusted with cornstarch right before frying in hot canola oil.

Nice pile of wings that were then dusted again with hot chile powder right out of the oil. These are a dry hot wing compared to the standard hot wing covered in hot sauce.

Put them on a plate however you like with or without blue cheese dressing.

These are killer! I need jah at the cook-off! This Friday and Saturday... You would be made a Buffalo Brother in a short, but meaningful ritual... You're one anyway- Honorary until you show up!

I've never had dry ones like this. I buy frozen ones all the time because they don't have alot of carbs. The ones you make are probably even better!

Some companies put a little bit of sugar in their seasoning or flour. I watch labels and buy the ones without the sugar

I'm not a big wing fan (hate skins), would it work on skinless chicken breasts? Have to say the wings do look tasty though....

These look delicious!!

Queenie - I use boneless skinless chicken thighs in place of wings, works great, tastes great, and has less fat than wings too!

My hubby LOVES wings..the hotter the better, he says. I am not into spicy food, can't handle it. I don't like the smell of the vinegar in the sauce, I like these dry wings you prepared for us (to view). Do you have a good recipe for teriyaki wings?

Being born and raised in BUFFALO, New York...I give you kudos for some great looking wings you have in those photos!
