Waste not want not and we live it that way. Every consumable goes through changes if we dont use it up the first time around, torn jeans become shorts -for example. This pan perdu is no different except this is donut perdu. We had some donuts that didnt get eaten fast enough so donut french toast they became. Talk about good! I think I am going to start buying donuts just for this great breakfast treat.
