Rice

When ever I get lazy and thats actually something I am working on but when ever that happens I make fried rice. It, to me, represents lazy food, food you make when you cant think of anything else to make. I regret my seemingly un-polite ness about this but it has always been my view. Fried rice is like the stew pot of dry food. Put anything you want and it all comes out fine. Here is some I made today. And a sandwich for the guy.

Isnt it funny how we have to eat every day?

When I was little, the Dutch in this area would put butter and brown sugar on white rice! I was older before I realized this was really odd. We now eat white, brown, wild(sorta rice)as a side, or in stuffings alot! I really like fried rice, but usually get that when dining out.

Your son eats well - even on your so-called lazy days.

yes!!! so strange how we have to eat everyday. imagine if eating was purely pleasure oriented and you could eat as often as you wanted and the people who didn't like eating would just never eat and they wouldn't know what anything tasted like! being hungry is so inconvenient. i wish i could go as long as i wanted with out food.

That's my lazy food too! I also do fried noodles, because it takes less time to make (noodles: 3 minutes, rice: 20 minutes). Or egg and cheese sandwiches are always a good quick meal.
