its, its a ballroom blitz

Well it isnt really a ballroom blitz or even a sack the quarterback blitz, in fact it isnt even a blitz at all.

Found some mushrooms the other day but 1) I am tired of the chicken mushroom and

2) I cant positively identify the other one, trichaloma , hebeloma, clitocybe - just not sure so they are pretty pictures instead.

Its no blitz its a blintz, cheese blintz with blueberries to be exact. Slow Sunday in these parts - hopefully inspiration will visit me and I will have more to share but for now I guess its the drips and drabs.

I LOVE that song. I was actually listening to it the other day. I haven't had breakfast and I want some right now. *stomach grumbling*

Such fresh ingredients. So lucky to be able to run around and forage for good stuff like that. There's nothing wrong with a little sweet breakfast though, and blueberries are always nice.

How did you tell that those mushrooms are not poisonous?
I love everything that made with blueberry! Great pic too!

Your cheese blintzes are beautiful. Hope the blahs pass. Did you get the 2" of rain that tried to drown us yesterday?

Hello me darlin! I have never had a blintz. Your execution is wonderful. AND Mr. Mushroom Man I will be doing a post in the next couple of days that will make you proud. Although I have yet to venture in the woods with my boots on. I kind of just peered in and said yeah....no.

I haven't made those in years. Looks good to me. You should try my mushroom bisque Dog.

Glad you didn't eat the magic mushrooms......

Yeah... that looks delicious! Nice to catch up with you. I laughed out loud when I read your post about forgetting about your blog and then I laughed harder when I saw the dates. After two months away I needed that laugh.

Just had my first caramel apple in years on a car ride home from Vermont with my 14 year old son. Those memories are simply the best for kids and your apples look better than the ones we bought at Alysson's Orchard in New Hampshire.

Mmmmm blintzes....delicious! I miss all the morel mushrooms I used to find with my father growing up in Ohio. There was nothing better than eating them with dinner:) Although usually my father and I would cook them up and eat them as more of a snack because we couldn't resist eating them right away after they soaked:)

That looks so delicious. I would love that for breakfast. I love the bluberries to go with it too.
