menagerie

This post is going to be all over the place, every which way to Sunday if you want specifics. I have a little bit of a back log of food photos and no back log of snarky writing to go with them. We did dog some tacos though, crunchy and satisfying.

We have the shrimp and fennel pollen bisque with mini shrimp cakes, for example.

So mouth watering and delicious yet not inspiring enough to get my creative writing juices flowing.

Eggs benedict with shrimp flavored hollandaise are in the mix, complete with an avocado salad and hearty bacon home fries.

Filled up bellies but didnt rev up brain cells.

Yucca and bacalao salad - one of my favorite things to eat in the whole wide world - you can follow that link to a time when I talked all about it. While this isnt much for looks it is definitely one for flavor. So you see I have a whole lot of nothing.

You can vote for me:

This one is a cocktail

And this one is a flan. The badges look the same but they take you to two different places. Thanks in advance.

I can not stand all of the deliciousness that is going on in this post right now! I am an eggs bene junky and that hollandaise is making my jowls water right now. Plus the Yucca and bacalo salad are singing to my heart! We make bacala every Christmas in a variety of ways, so you KNOW you've got my vote. Cheers! ^_^

A very well prepared shrimp, lobster or other seafood bisque is a very hard thing to come by. That one looks particularly tasty...

What a plate of Eggs Benedict. Love it with the potatoes and the avocado. There wouldn't be a bite left on my plate. You're welcome to go every which way from Sunday again. This was fun.

bacon hollandaise? hello? how many people came over to your house for the spread, I mean you'd have to be an idiot not to just show up. LOL

I'm all over that shrimp and fennel bisque. A nice hefty bowl of that would lift me up from this dreary day.

I like your "all over the place snarky writing" post. I'm running over to look at that bacolo salad as fast as I can. As you know I'm an Eggs Benedict freak-o. Love that poached eggs photo.

Nice way to use up those photos. You should be impressed with yourself for taking pictures at all. 80% or time I pick a fork before I pick up a camera.

I could go for the eggs benedict right now!

Is the Pup going for the pony tail look like my Jeff sported for 3/4 decade? The girls identified him as the giant with the red pony tail. He was passed a lot of phone numbers because of it.
