Chicken Soup
Here is a sausage update. What was once this is now this. Another couple weeks and it will be dry and delectable.
I made some roasted chicken with caramelized garlic soup and a salad of green leaf and red peppers and tomatoes and avocado. We also dipped crusty bread in olive oil with sea salt.
Caramelize the chicken and veggies in olive oil, salt and pepper. Add water. and simmer until everything is tender. my son likes just the broth and Me I eat it all.
For a snack I cracked open a coconut and put some pieces under the broiler with a little sugar and lime. Then wash it all down a cold and bitter beer.

i would eat it all, too!! although chicken soup isn't my favorite, when it's good, it's GOOD! as for me, i'm having an iced coffee right now.
I drink only iced coffee...it tastes better longer..I only eat homemade chicken soup, I could never order it out, same with scrambled eggs.
oh god, I'm melting.
michelle : huh??
That fantastic food you've cooked up!!!....just a metaphor because I am currently eating a corndog.
come here so I can punch you. You make me sick! ;)

Beth :not really its just that I dont have much else to say, I dont watch sports I dont watch much TV..I have only this...eating.
I'm mean? I"M MEAM?!?!?! What about you posting all those pictures of that food....and I can't have any of it. that's just plain cruel doggy, just. plain. cruel.
just lurking in blogger-world (found you on beth's blog) and found you. Your blog makes me drool.
I've made sausage in the past, but got more into perfecting my jerky recipes. Recently got a Kitchen Aid 6qt stand mixer with the grinder and sausage stuffer attachments. I will be watching your progress for tips on how the slow dry stuff comes out.
Give it up already. Who taught you to cook?
I am self taught and I am only posting more food as a result of peer pressure....
I just came over here to ask you something:
What?
Hee, hee, am I so funny or
What?
Hee hee, I did it again! I crack myself up!
Between your post on chicken soup and Pink's post on corn chowder, I must give into peer pressure. Green Pozole is on the menu for tomorrow. Yum!
Your chicken soup looks fabulous.
Mmmmm....I'm so hungry now!
;)
That actually looks quite yummy.
I love chicken...and this soup looks great!
