meeting and greeting

S
till not doing what I need to do yet still doing what I have to do, how do I do it? This particular question should be one of those 'meaning of life things' because its a chicken/egg conundrum from the get go.

Met with Hagen this morning- The Wandering Foodie, he's doing a big project of eating 93 meals this month and we discussed the nuances of a Moroccan breakfast, one of his many stops.

We agreed that the pita was the best in all the land.

Harisa always needs extra attention.

I cant review the place since I picked it and its one of my favorites, you'll have to see what he says.

Proof is me jabbering about jabbering.

Oh, those eggs! And the rest of the trimmings, I would have loved to be there with you, bringing my camera of course. Nowadays my camera feels sad and left out, since there seems to be nothing to photograph! Of course there is, but the person behind the camera is in a low creative mood, and she can't blog without photos! (bad circle)
Those eggs however, would sure have put a stop to all that sillyness!

The chicken and egg conundrum - classic. It really permeates so many aspects of every day life.

Where is this Moroccan restaurant that you guys went to? Looks good.

Sometimes the meaning of life and things like this, are not to be known. The real question is ~ Do we really want to know where we are going?

I for one have lived my life by Robert Frost poem, The Road Not Taken ~ enjoying the adventure on the roads less traveled.

Sounds like a terrific quest Hagen is on and this stop looks like a winner!

That breakfast looks amazing . . . I've never had Moroccan foods, but will try it if I get a chance. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to practice poaching eggs.

This is my favorite Moroccan spot in NYC and just a stone's throw from our place! I've never been there for breakfast and you've convinced me to pay them a visit in the morning!

Next time I am in NY you give me the address to this place? The food looks so great and we are big Moroccan food fans! And what fun meeting other food bloggers!

huh...you know I stayed in Morocco for a month and I didn't run into hummus or tabbouleh even once.

I did like going to the neighborhood bakery--old men in a cave like oven who could remember which loaf of bread belonged to which person, even with almost 50 loaves in there.
