Did I really get to see a little bit of your kitchen? That was a great video.

Great video. When I was a kid we would catch carp, bring them home and bury them under the fruit tree's for fertilizer.

You know I could just hear you saying, "I caught a fish that was thiiissss biiiigggg!" when you were a kid. Pretty area. Glad your family still has the farm so you can go home.

That was quite special and I now feel like I know a celebrity! I can't wait to see the next installment. I was raised in SW Kansas, and made many road trips through New Mexico. I only glimpsed the exotic side of that state and the wonderful food - especially those chilies. Great post, Christo!

Very cool, very cool indeed!
And I love to hear you tell us about your grandma! By the way, your son looks very much like the photos of you!

wReggie: it is well done - the people in New Mexico and California producing this have done this before

Micky-T: while I would like to say that is my kitchen it is not - it is my friends kitchen in New Mexico

Creative: I wonder how many people have a carp story - that would be interesting

marjie: if you have never seen wild carp from the rio grande river then you wouldnt know how big they can get...lol

vickie: episode 2 has me making the dish - and it came out rather nice if I have to say so myself

anette: thank you very much -
