I was given a book on mushrooms once, and it stated the majority of mushrooms on the planet are toxic to humans...

perhaps that is an old book. there are so many nice and tasty edible mushrooms that you can find just about anyhwere and just about anytime. true thare are many inedible and some toxic but it isnt as common as supposed.

hmmm--those trees remind me of something...

Amazing that you pick mushrooms--I know nothing about doing that, other than you have to be really, really careful.

I'll only eat a mushroom growing in the wild if you tell me it's ok to eat.

Love those rude tree shots. Be sure and click on the FlickR link at my site and check out the fill glory of the Trelingua experience. I didn't post all the good shots. There's a set to the right you can click on and see them in the order that they were taken.
